Adriana Krnáčová, Mayor of Prague

Adriana Krnáčová was born on 26 September 1960 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Basic studies ended in Bratislava, Comenius University, and master at DePaul University in Chicago, USA.

Before he engagement as the Mayor of Prague, Krnáč worked in NGOs (Soros Center, Transparency International) until 2007, and from 2007 to 2014 as a manager in the private sector (Johnson & Johnson, Bleu Ocean Solutions). She also worked as Deputy Minister of the Interior on issues of public administration and legislation.

In place mayor of Prague mayor was elected in November 2014 as the first woman on this position. In 2011 she was candidat for ANO of the political party, for which the media report that was established by the second richest Czechs Andrej Babis, the owner of the media company MAFRA.
Krnáč speaks Slovak, German, English, Hungarian, Russian and Italian.
